  Old  Sound Problem on mac

When i got on my apple this morning i noticed that it didnt have any sound so when i tried to turn it up i got this image here:

I tried everything plugging my speaker back in and everything but nothing is changing. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this.

Have you correctly specified an output for your sound?

Disable SoundFlower. Unplug anything the headphones port or digital output port. I'll try and speak to you on msn to sort it out on there.

JamieB Thanks for the help but I fixed it. I found a blog on the situation had to switch up some files because of the newest osx update.
