Intel hands down, I've never been an AMD fan. Currently use a laptop with Core 2 Duo - and it seems to be running well - the only annoyance is finding software that runs on Core 2 Duo's 2 core system! Lol.

When the Dual-Core AMD's came out, they destroyed all the Intels out. With the Core 2 Duo's out now however, they beat out the AMD x2's. Now, I havent been paying so much attention and idk who has the best quad-cores so who knows.

I like them both. I have the AMD X2 5000 and I like it. Im no hardcore gamer, but it gets the job done no problem.

Agreed ^ But it wasn't always like that. AMD can get back in the game, and be the more elite of the two again... Kinda hope they do, I like them =]

Got my AMD Quad now, amazingly fast and great!
Much better than the dual amd.
My System:
AMD Quad 9600 Phenom
ATI Sapphire 3870 512MB
Asus M3A32-MVP Motherboard
Ati OCZ 6400 2x1GB sticks (Upgrading that soon though).
