People's time isn't wasted, they can enter the contest on SP.

I really don't see why it can't be on two sites, having this rule just makes TFL members miss on on something that could have a chance of winning.

Why remove a chance of winning?

You can advertise you contest in the marketplace but this forum is for talkfreelance only contests. I like to ensure one of my members will win, cross forum competitions aren't a good idea because it really does lower the chance of someone winning.

At the end of the day it's your choice and I can see why you have decided to go with sitepoint but I don't think the end result will even touch the on the talent we have here.
