  Old  Contracts & Agreements

Well I'm in the process of writing up a contract for some future web design projects and I have found a few examples to base it off.

But I'm also looking for examples of Subcontractor Agreements or a document basically saying the work is a complete. Does anyone know where I can find some examples of these type of documents?

I would appreciate it if anyone who has some can give me a copy to help me create mine...

No one replied but I have found these http://www.designerstoolbox.com/products/forms/

Has anyone bought these before? Kind of expensive.

I would search other forums and Google. You'd be surprised how many sites would offer this service.

If not, the best way is to always get a lawyer to draft something up for you. You can even post in the offers section and maybe somebody is willing to sell you their template.

Best of luck.

what you need is work for hire agreement, that basically protects you from your idea being stolen and states that the work completed for a price is yours...
let me know if you have any further questions or if that didnt answer your questions...

What you absolutely don't need is a Work for Hire contract! With a WFH you sign over the authorship to your employer which is IMO a very ugly, nasty thing to do. Protects you from your idea being stolen and states that the work completed for a price is yours?.. Not in the slightest.

Thanks for the help guys.

I've actually found some other resources on different forums and sites but I was just wondering if anyone had tried the ones at DesignersToolbox. A lot of the ones I've found have certain things missing or are not detailed enough. I guess I'll just pick and choose things I need and elaborate on what I need.

Would you be wiling to give links to the resources you have found?

I am so lost in all this contract stuff. I need one, I know this, but I want it in lay terms. ... So much to think about, I am having a hard time knowing where to start.

Thanks!
Ashley
