Old  .info domains.. giving them away now!

So, i got that dreaded "renew your domains" so i renewed all my .coms.

Saw the message .infos for $1.78! So i got a dozen or so for redirects and a couple far fetched ones. I don't think the .info is that much of a drag to market really is it? Compared to others.

Just wondering if anyone else picked up a few? Or if they own some? and don't think they are THAT bad either.

I actually like .info but you have to have something that would pertain to the extension. A few months ago I saw html.info sell for a good $4500. Good domains like those can sell for a decent amount.

.info's can be just as valuable or even more valuable than .com in some cases, depending on the SLD. Alot of people look down upon .infos thinking of them as cheap domains to get, but they are actually really nice.

I like .info if they are used for information sites.

Like if you look for information on your favourite band. www.bandname.info, stuff like that.

I personally think if you get a very good keyword(s) .info then it's worth keeping or reselling. If that's not the case then buy a .info only if you wish to develop it.

Just goes to show how poor .info really is, I managed to get 3 domains for free a year or so ago

you can get them by posting on NamePros, definetly a minus, plus they used to be free.

So I would say that they are depreciated compared to .coms, btu still hold value if the keyword is good enough.
