  Old  Help with website

I sent a zipped website by email to a friend to look over. He said he could only see the layout but not the pics and images. The thing is the graphics and the html files are all in the zipped file. What could be the problem?

He probably didn't extract the files before viewing the HTML, he needs to do so. Files can not access others in the archive when zipped.

Old  Use relative paths for images etc.

Sometimes, it happens that the images are set as real paths, not according to the relative paths. In that case there will be problem even after extracting the complete files/folders. If you are sure that you have developed the pages with relative paths for the images etc., then you should ask your friend to extract everything from the archive and try opening from that same location.

Hope this helps.
