  Old  Accounting software recommendations?

Hello... I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on any accounting software?

Here's my dilemma. I have a windows laptop that I use for my soon-to-be-no-more day job, and a ubuntu laptop I use at home. When I give my two-weeks, I won't have the windows laptop anymore. I will eventually get one for such things as financials, however I can't decide what software to get. I need something that I can ultimately port over to the new laptop, and back up easily. Any suggestions?

I own a bakery, I currently have a huge spreadsheet I do my budgeting and purchase orders in. The financials are in a bit of a crude spreadsheet too. It's working ok for the inventory... as Q3 begins I get nervous about taxes though

Any suggestions are most welcome!
