Old  Your order of learning codes

I learnt coding in the following order:

1. HTML
2. XHTML
3. CSS (still perfecting it)
4. Javascript (NOW Learning; just cracked open the JS tutorials)

I still have other languages i wish to learn:

1. DHTML
2. XML
3. PHP

But i don't know what order in I should take them. Any ideas?

It's your turn, list your order of learning web languages.

Unlike you, I started HTML, then PHP & MySQL, then XHTML, CSS, Javscript, C++. That's me. Never took an intrest in DHTML, and XML. Even though both are pretty powerful :-P/

I agree with Dumbcoder, PHP is nothing without HTML. It's displayed as HTML on your web browser. How did you possibly manage that one o_O.

I guess I learned a tiny bit of HTML with the PHP tuts I had, it was all <table> and <td> then, so it wasn't exactly hard. It wasn't like layout coding or anythin just plain old data output in tables. You don't essentially need to know HTML to before you learn PHP. I mean you don't need HTML to know what a variable is. Stuff like that was easy to learn.
