  Old  Sonytalk

Bought the domain a couple of days ago, and I produced this logo to put up a holding page. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, but your opinions on it would be much appreciated.

You see the logo by clicking here.

It looks good. I sort of miss the word Talk when I look at it. Not sure if that is important.

Agreed with dvduval. The word "Talk" in the speech bubble (which is overused enough as it is) is really out of place and is hard to read without completely reverting your eyes. Also, there isn't much to critique other than that. It's just a standard font and tutorial speech bubble logo, with honestly absolutely no thought in it at all.

Try getting it out of the speech bubble, Trying different colours then moving it around to unusual but catching places. The trick is that you don't want people shifting there eye's all over the place.

Look at how you read it, left to right.. But it's left to right.. Then top right in this case.

Try moving it onto the far left and inside the bottom of the S?
Or cutting out some text in the middle and slotting it in?

Or turning it diagonal and placing between the O

It isn't overly obvious that that O is now an O with the "talk" bit covering it up.

I liked the first version better, but only slightly.

The first one looks better than the second, which now looks like it's an n. The first one wasn't bad, it just needed balancing a little, and maybe a colour change for the speech bubble, although the speech bubble concept was a little obvious and overused.

On the second one, I wonder if you could keep all of the O but reduce the opacity. You probably also make the orange a little bolder.

The first version looks better than the modified one you created by amputating the O. Try putting the TALK inside the O instead of hiding a part of the letter.
