Which looks better on blue or white background ?

Am not sure really, i think them both, i think it would depend on the rest of the layout (providing you are going to use it on a layout).

I'd say the one with the blue background only because the box of blue seems to contain the logo and gives it a border. So I don't know how it will look when it's incorporated into a design with a blue background all-over.

I personally prefer the white one, flows more etc.

Yup I like the white better but as stated the blue gives it a background feel. Maybe just a simple stoke around the white may help.
