GoDaddy.com Privacy Issue?

Apparently there is an advanced option on GoDaddy which lets other users see what names have been considered (Looked up) and not registered by other users.

What do you think? I think that it pretty much sucks it if is true, What kind of privacy is that? I have always and will always use NameCheap.com.

I don't use GoDaddy, I often check availabilities on Name Cheap though. If I checked to see if a domain was available and it's a really good one, but I had to wait to get the money into paypal etc and someone has 'nicked' it I would be pretty pissed off.

It may just be coincidence. I've registered domains and found they were previously listed on available lists.

Of course, I wouldn't chance it and use Whois Source to check domain availability.
