Ok so the player's beta is out... but anyone know something about a new release of Flash??? After the acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe no major updates have been released for the Macromedia Suite...

From what I read on Macromedia.com around the time the sale was announced, they still plan to release an update to the Suite products around October this year

As a note, Adobe haven't completed the acquisition yet - they are still waiting for numerous things to happen (shareholder approval, competition regulator etc... and all the other usual things associated with takeovers!)
