  Old  Table probs

Hey

first post here hope u can help me out

I have done a site design in photoshop and exported it out to a html page. I'm now editing it in dreamweaver. I have added a bg fill on a table to make the design stretch to the very edge of the page. I have my table width set at 100% but when I preview in ie it doesn't go quite to the edge of the page. Can anyone help me out?

I'm just arranging some free hosting right now so will have links to pics/page in about 15 mins.

edit: http://www.geocities.com/au_xang/index.html that's the link

ty in advance

if i understand it well, usually the site doeasn't go quite to the edge of the page because of the <body>. Try <body topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0">

Well, it's still preferable that you give it a unit, too.

In your source, I can see:
Code:
<table width="98%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
Which should be:
Code:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
To make the table fully stretch the page.
