Nile Hadwards is on a distinguished road

Old  A Guide to Finding the Best Hosting Companies

There are a lot of firms who would say they offer the best service for developing a site but it has to be good for your needs and budget. Some remarks and reviews may be biased and therefore not very helpful. However, there should be general forums where information that can be trusted can be gleaned.

Look out for these issues for a good web host firm:
(1)Having a strong reputation
(2)Equipment you can trust
(3)Infrastructure you can rely upon
(4)Price

Great article. I would also like to add support as I feel that it's the most important factor to take into consideration before choosing a web host.

Kind of like your site.. Anything listed on sites like Nile's here are example of hosting companies you need to stay AWAY from.. AWAY..

Any site that has JustHost as #1, HostPapa or 1and1 ANYWHERE on any page should be ignored.

You should consider the support too. It is very important.

Village Genius will become famous soon enough

Just remember the universal rule of business, you get what you pay for. If you pay for $5 of hosting, you will get no more than $5 worth of hosting (but often times less).

What would be the URL that you host with them?

You seem to have chosen a good web host. I just visited the site and it loaded pretty fast.

@ Cableguy: What's wrong with Just Host and Host Papa? I never tried either Just Host or Host Papa, so can you give a reason why we should stay away from both web hosts?

Host Papa has a waived 30$ setup fee which if you choose to cancel during their 30-day-full-refund guarantee, you'll never see again.

Just Host is on every sketchy webhost review site as number 1, all that says is that their affiliate program pays good and that all their $$ goes to affiliates instead of providing good service. oh and try to go to their site then navigate away.. see that pop-up? that's your number #1 flag to not sign-up with someone. if i want to navigate away, then i want to navigate away without having to read your shitty popups. I have to read the whole thing in paranoia of clicking the wrong button.. who knows what "yes", "no", "cancel" mean.. you have to read that shit.
