the banner rule
has the banner rule changed, cause i notice more people having 468x60 in there sigs.

They are probably breaking the rules or just changed the size of them.

Yeah, they're just breaking the rules.
Also, I have noticed an increasing number of people with reduced size banners - Me being one, until I noticed how distracting it was when reading threads.

I usually post informing the person of the rule, and then report. I figure then the mods don't have to explain.

To be honest the banner rule doesn't make any sense to me ... what does it come out to like 8 pixel width difference? I think that rule was just made to annoy people to be honest.

Well, as long as we are being 'honest' that is the most illogical thing I've heard today, excluding the tipps conversation. Why on earth would anyone wanting to run a succesful forum make rules simply to annoy members?
That would be like Audi putting in only the A/C; but no buttons 'simply to annoy' their buyers.

I thought it was obvious I was joking. Of course an admin isn't going to make a rule simply to annoy people - the point I was trying to make is simply that it's a stupid rule and makes absolutely no sense.
