taking credit card payments (UK)

Hi,

How do i go about processesing a credit card payment without paypal etc? Say for example someone sends me a paper-based form with their credit card details on, where would i go from there?

Merchant, EFTPOS?
I am not sure about paper form? Bank does providing credit card forms

Thanks. yes that what i was looking for. Unfortunaly there are quite high costs with this.
