Feedback on wordpress theme

Seems interesting. I don't know about those margins around the layout since they take so much space without need and I think that they don't really help on the composition.

The flash on the top image seems to much for me.

I like the big text on the page it really helps on the legibility and gives you more flexibility.

Maybe you could give another color on the link active? Since it's the same as the hover it creates some kind of confusion.

Be careful with the 3 column footer. Since it's a responsive layout those columns should also have a percentage on the width with a min-width for example. If you close the browser you'll notice that one column goes below.
