It looks nice but the red doesn't really fit the picture. Same as the background you have chosen for the red navigation, it just distracts from the header.
As a designer you want the header to stand out, when people visit the website their first notice is the header, but here if I look at the template the first thing that catches my eye is the heavy red with the white border.
I'm not saying it's not nice, but I think you should invest a little more time into color management to see what works out better, but after all this is just an opinion.
