Old  Displaying an image by date modified?

I am not sure if this is possible, however, is it possible to have the latest modified image displayed?

For example, I want it so a client can upload their latest photography and have it displayed on their homepage as "latest photography".

PHP Code:
$news_displaymax "10"
In your posting file or what ever

It's certainly possible with PHP. If that's what you're using then let us know and we could post up some code.
