I hate to break it to you Zero, but jon's comment was probably the most useful comment posted.
Take it or leave it. Jon has been pretty successful with his ventures on the web. If I were you I would take into consideration what he said.

I am with jon. I would start again if I were you. The design you have right now doesn't really look like a professional portfolio. Try something lighter and cleaner for a portfolio.

your concept: ______________
until you can fill that line, don't go further. the image this makes is completely random.
what are the goals? how does the concept relate / help achieve them? is/was it sucessful? you need to focus on thse before you start worrying about whether it's retty enough. doesn't mater how much make up you use, an ugly face is still an ugly face. you need to work with what's naturally there before you use enhancements. no i'm not that shallow, it's just a metaphore.

My Concept: A portfolio designed to fit my chaotic lifestyle and personality.
And I have desided to make it over, lol. As thats what everyone is telling me to do.

The design screams "TRENDWHORE! LOOK AT MY SPLATTERED PAINT BRUSHES, DIAGONAL LINES AND RANDOM SCOTCH TAPE!" a lot more than portraying your 'chaotic lifestyle and personality'.
It looks really thrown together. The headers "About, The Work, etc." are all on different angles, I'm not quite sure how this shows your chaotic lifestyle, it looks more to me like you don't know how to use the text tool. The colors could use some work, everything is too dark, I don't want to imagine what a person with their contrast set low is viewing.
Personally, I'd say back to the drawing board.

Technically my comment was basically the same as jons, I just didn't go out of my way to try to make the guy feel bad. Must be my nonegotistic nature
I suggest you pay attention to dereks comments the most.

Yeah, start over. It's good to come up with a few portfolio concepts anyway.
If you still wanted some simple suggestions, I would change the font on all your title texts' to white. I would also style your forms, as well as adding some texture to the tape.
