Hey, it doesn't look any bad.

I have a comment though. It looks really dark to me. Let me explain:

My monitor is calibrated for printed design. This is darker than usual.

If your monitor if not calibrated (most are not), you might see everything lighter, so you design darker. But when someone with a darker monitor visits your site, they will see it pretty dark. Does it make any sense?

So an intermediate brightness will be convenient. In my opinion, a bit more bright wouldn't be any bad.

Moreover, if you'd like to easily calibrate your monitor, you can do the following:

-With photoshop, create a totally black image
-Adjust your monitor's contrast to 0 (zero)
-Adjust monitor's brightness slowly until you see your image as black as it can be.

Well how was that for an advise?

Regards!

Not bad, not sure about the bottom bit, maybe try on the side?

I like the colours

Think about it this way: Is it more appealing to you.. Or more appealing to a client?

I hate it.

It looks like you've started following some random tutorial on a random tutorial website, got bored half way through and started using random photoshop brushes to finish it off. The idea is old and way over done and this one isn't even done very well.

Stop, scrap it, start again.

I'm sorry, how am i being a complete ass? I'm not going to pad my comments in cotton wool. Just because i'm being direct doesn't make me an "ass".

Anyway, my comment should have help a lot more than most of the other comments in this thread.

Awesome!

Yeah, ok then.

This is a tough industry, if you can't handle some negative comments you may as well give up now.

Yes, it was helpful. But there is a line between helping someone and just being rude. Honestly, this buisness is also about working with people. If you not polite and respectful I don't know how you would get clients. I personally would like to hire someone who is nice and polite. It seems your not people person, but that is just what is seems like.

Thank you though for your help, I respect your opinion, just not how you put it.

Anyways, back on topic.
