mod_rewrite

Well, I thought this would work, but apparantly not.

I have a script that redisplays all my files on my server to make them pretty.

It displays a directory as:
http://nuyata.com/index.php?dir=bf2142

But I want it as:
http://nuyata.com/bf2142/

Just like I don't have the script.

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.+)/$ index.php?dir=$1 [L]

That is what I have, but it isn't working. Any suggestions?

Works for me, but if your talking about those images no showing up, there looking for images like:
nuyata.com/bf2142/images/ not where there at, at nuyata.com/images/
