And if you were, you weren't very well, how are they meant to put text on the page if they're all images and not set to the background?

If I were you, I would start to learn how to use CSS and tabless coding instead of jumping in and coding layouts with tables.

ok, i know CSS and i have been fiddling around with it nearly all last night and tonight,

i know things like:

Code:
color: #ffffff;

width: 420px;

font-variant: small-caps;

font-size: 15px;

font-weight: bold;

letter-spacing: 2px;

text-align: left;
but i just dont know how to intergrate that into my coding. if you could drop me your MSN and help me out id app. that

on another note,

is it ok if you use layers when coding becasue i am very good with layers and there easyer to edit and work with than tables.

Um, no... Thats almost as bad as using tables. You would have wanted to use list tags there.

You should get the developer extension for firefox, and look at how other people do it. Also, picking up the books 'cssmastery' would be a good start. http://alistapart.com/ has many great reads on css and such as well.

I learned css with the developer extension and lots of trys. Not sure what kind of learner you are, but code peaking is the only way I learn.
