  Old  TFL Bucks?

What do you think about this addition to talkfreelance? Would you like to see the store modification?

If you aren't aware of this hack, you basically earn points for posting, starting new threads etc. You use these points to buy things such as bold titles, custom usernames, coloured usernames, avatars, pm space etc.

Just looking for ways to improve this community and make it more fun!

I dunno. Hacks like that you see around everywhere. To be honest, when it comes to a forum I prefer to see innovations on the existing script more than what people can add onto it. A good example for this would be new fields added in the User Profile's, and a new design for it to make it more....freelancey. Stuff like that sets you out above the rest IMO.

And I've always hated restrictions on what I can do.

I totally disagree with a store hack. Talkfreelance is not a forum that needs something like that.

No I dont think you need the store hack but it might encourage younger people who like to play lol but I dont think you want that. Or you could have it so when people reach X amount of posts they get some sort of download from there such as a template.
And about TFL bucks if you mean like namebucks on namepros then that sounds ok to me

I don't like the idea for TF. I mean, we are trying to attract people to post job offers and such, with millions of different user name colors and titles, it would look unprofessional.

The idea is cool, but not for this type of community!

Comming from someone who cant use sentance structure.

In my honest opinion I think it could bring some cool things to the community. Eventually you could maybe achieve enough TFL Bucks for say a mug, mouse pade, etc.. As the community grows the bucks would become more valueable. Eventually individuals could trade them for various things such as sigs, templates, or anything really.
