True. If you've got no friends who are bloggers - start making some. You need to the get the word out to everyone who cares to listen.

Make sure you're offering something unique, valuable and worth their time and then once your sure-go all out and just send your link to every directory and do article marketing, social bookmarking, cold calls-The whole shebang. (clearly I didn't mention every form of marketing, you get the idea).

I always follow this simple equation:
Good content + SEO + Paid ads

Works well everytime. Its more effective diversifying for greater reach IMO.
