Exactly. I dont' understand what all the fuss is about. Why spend your time there while internet offers so much more in terms of development and oppurtunities...

I have 0 friends at myspace, probably beacouse I dont have a account :P
Never liked myspace really, doubt that I will sign up.
I dont see the reason to try get as much friends as possible. I also think its wierd that they call it "friends" - You cant have 7820 friends :P all you do is to click them into your friends list and they accept etc... Most of them are just "randoms" and not real friends.
A "online buddy" maybe ? yes...

Personally I would rather spend time with my real friends OFFline

I have a myspace profile called Herky (the Iowa mascot) http://www.myspace.com/19821568

I have around 400 friends. All of them are rabid hawkeye fans. Mostly students and Iowans.

Right now I'm working on an Iowa fan site, with message boards and news etc and I plan to sell t-shirts there. I am going to use Herky to advertise the site. Put the link on the profile and send out bulletins with the link.

People will go there because it's approved by Herky! So I'm going to use it as a sort of marketing tool.

I think myspace is lame too, but if I get some new members out of it, that'll be cool.

yeah, my myspace has like 310
and i know just about every single one
I dont add weird ass people who I dont know, or havent met before.
Its just lame having 4,000 friends, but you dont know any of em.
seems like a way to fill a friendless void in your life by having alot of random people as your 'friend'

That’s totally irrelevant. MySpace is just used as a marketing tool. The more “friends” you have, the more traffic you can drive to your company or website.

Erm, I dont think I have any. I signed up for an account ages ago because someone wanted me to add them as their friend. Never used it though.

Everyone at School goes "go on my website www.what-site.piczo.com" erm NOT A WEBSITE OK Just a lame space for you to put Pictures. Really if your Promoting Your website then Yes use Myspace but if your just doing what everyone else is doing and Using it to make friends etc then sorry to say this your wasting your time
