Adsense Vs Yahoo Publisher Network, Which is performing better for you?
I've heard alot of talk about the YPN paying more than adsense, is this true? When I used adsense on Talkfreelance I was only making $5-10 per day, I was considering the options on YPN on Talkfreelance but i'm not sure it will perform any better, i've also heard there are some restrictions to YPN.
From anyone who has tested both networks or for anyone who is running sites using both, which one is currently making you more revenue?
The only restriction AFAIK is YPN is currently available to the people of the U.S only. It seems YPN pay more per click than adsense but YPN is not returning ads that are as relevant as the ones that Adsense users are finding. I think in the long run it won't matter if YPN pays more if they can't improve their ad relevancy because they won't get the number of clicks from visitors to see a real difference in their earnings. So more or less the earnings will be same.
I can't say i know a great deal of the subject as i havn't tried them out but i've heard many a story of people earning MUCH MUCH more through YPN than Google, although i've also heard rumors that the only reason for that is because it's in BETA and once it becomes available to countries outside America it's likely that it will just level off with google. Apparently anyway.
Seeing how I make $5 / day running YPN on just one skin on my forum and I make $2 - $5 on Adsense running it throughout the site, I guess I'd say that YPN is performing better.
I applied for YPN about 1 week ago.. hoping to get a reply soon.
I've been pulling randomly making $20+ or $5.. Google surely does that pay much.. well maybe its because of my keywords.. I got over 350 adclicks the other day and barely broke $25.
Come on YPN! Where are you!
Creepah: so have you made a total switch to YPN? Are you making a steady $50+ ?
