Getting clients?

I would say the good manners always bring customers or clients. You have to understand what the clients realy want, Its not alll about hosting or design Its about how you act with them and make them feel good while dealing with you!

To get customers you need :
1. a portfolio online with your best works
2. exposure (post your portfolio website link on message boards, freelance websites)

i advertise my portfolio and things in my sig at diff forums, i post my work for sale and post examples of my work, and i enter contests and stuff.

I've never entered contests or anything like that. Where are there contests to participate in and get known?

All I do is post Design Offers at other forums and that's when people contact me.
