Credit Card.
Hi.
For the past few years, I have been using my father’s credit card for online payment by his permission. I have been using it quite often for wired money transfer too.
Today I was discussing this with my father and he has told me I have much money in my bank and it’s kind of risky using it online looking at the frauds happening these days.
He then told me that he will be making another credit card under his name , bank account and everything and have just the required amount in the credit card that I need and I will be then given the access to his account and everything I will then have to wired the money myself and everything.
I agreed with him and I just would like to know what are the necessary things that needs to be done in this case. What else should I do and needs to be done ?
Is this legal ?
Has anyone ever been in this situation ?
Thank you.

I never have access my parents' bank account. I remember I read the bank book that it said never give out the pin number or never give anybody (incl family/relatives) to access your bank account.
What if you put wrong detail in personal information? Most likely 'fraud'.
I suggest you ask the bank about this. Credit card is highly fraud than bank transfer.

technically it's legal.
the card is registered to his name, and he's obviously given concent ot each purchase, so technically, whether you entered the card number, or he did, there's no way to prove it wasn't him. it's not like it's goignt o be investigated like a stolen card.

It's legal yes, if you have any questions you should just ask your dad
I don't have a credit card just a debit account for my student account.

You are 16. You should be able to get a bnak account. I got one at Bank Of America and they gave me a platinum Debit Card which is also a visa. And that's what i use.

I am about to do something like you Dray, I don't have a Credit Card I only have a debit card, I'm going to get another one that I can use on the net and only have a small amount of money in it, or transfer money into it when I need to buy something off the net, so if someone does get hold of the card number then can't steal any of my money...

I have a bank account and I had one at the age of like 14 I believe...
I have no money in it though so its sitting there with about 150$ in it. It's more like a savings acount. I have no credit/or/debit card. But I would like to look into getting one aswell.
