But as far as I know, you need a credit card attached to your account, because when I got mine, I couldn't do anything without having the CC, but why don't you ask your father to put his CC on your account too?

From my experience, you only need a bank account or valid credit card to only get a "verified" status. If you receive money first, you can still send money using the funds in the account. If you have no funds, then of course you will need to use the above means.

Btw, where are you guys located? I'm in the US, so it might be different for the UK and elsewhere.

Interesting. Well, that's what I have experienced. You only need the bank accounts to lift the spending limits. If you get funds, and only use those funds, you don't have to have a credit card or bank account. Only if you want to withdraw, or be verified.
