$150 website design + logo

Name of the contest: "web 2.0" website design and logo
Deadline: 2/6/07
Prize & Delivery method: $150, I am willing to split up the contest, $50 for the logo and $100 for the template

Contest brief: I require a design for a new website I am creating. It will be very similar to http://technorati.com/ and http://technorati.com/tag/freelance the website will mainly be a search engine, it needs the following components on the design:
- 2 column design

logo - we have currently not thought of a name for the website, however use the filler text "tagstag"

middle - space for about the website
- space for search results
- space for flickr feed
- space for youtube feed

side - advertisements
- recent tags
- top tags

footer - copyright text

It also needs a searchbar somewhere on the page

Inspirations: I like the concepts of "web 2.0" with the page not beong overcrowded site I like include, http://technorati.com/ http://www.theabsolutepeach.com/ http://www.egolounge.de/ http://www.simplebits.com/ Logo: http://www.logotwo.com/

Other information: We are already in the process or creating the code behind this website and so need a design asap, I have the right to choose a winner before the deadline and the right not to select a winner

I'm sorry, but you do not have that right. TalkFreelance rules state you MUST choose a winner. You may file for an extension, but a winner must be chosen in any contest.

Yes, the rules are that as long as you get a sufficient amount of entries then a winner must be chosen. 3 days is also a really short contest, I would highly recommend rethinking your deadline if possible.

Because he thinks that company logos have nothing to do with the name, and are there just to look good with some random symbol.
