LOL thanks for your responses guys! The only reason I don't use mac is because all my CDs are made for windows, and I've got quite a lot of CDs

That's understandable.

Personally, I'm going to have to say the Macbook Pro. However, if you have to go with Windows, maybe a Sony Vaio? I believe they are pretty nice.
