Old  Will my age hold me back from freelancing?

I am 14 years old (although look 20, not an exhaduration), and know html, css, javascript (with frameworks like jQuery and Prototype), php, perl, ruby on rails, and flash (with Actionscript). I feel that I have all of the qualifications to start freelancing, but that my age will hold me back. Will the average mom and pop shop care about my age? Can I pull off hiding my age? What do you think?

I don't think age is a main factor as long as you know what you're doing and you behave responsibly.

I've been coding here and there since I'm 15, so I'm talking from experience

Impressive skill set for some one your age.
You might not be able to leagly work. I would recommend building a portfolio to demonstrate your skills. Then people would look at your work and not your age.
Keep it up!

Don't worry about Age, but as DDS said, showcase your work / style(I hope you don't have one yet).

Make others know how much passion you can put in to something and have fun for a while, then when you think there is need for money which I think is not the case now, Start freelancing. But I suggest you not to take freelance route.

If you're getting all your work through the internet, then age isn't so much of an issue because people will be blissfully ignorant.

You just have to let your work do the talking
