  Old  Can i migrate from wordpress to joomla?

I have recently launched my blog and hosted it on I have used wordpress as an application but wanted to migrate now to Joomla. Since i have never used Joomla need help in knowing is it possible to migrate from wordpress to joomla? and if yes what is the process?

Why you want to migrate Wordpress to Joomla? I like Wordpress cause they are more SE friendly for me. I don't use Joomla so I don't have suggest.

Cantik, if you can't be of any help the OP then just don't bother taking the time to offer your two cents. Post count is not important.

Ritesh, it is possible to move things over. The most popular tool, from a quick look, appears to be outlined on this page. Failing that, it wouldn't be much to ask of a professional PHP programmer/MySQL admin to do the conversion for you.

Hi

Thanks for the answer yes wordpress is more SE friendly but again my intention was to learn new applications by actually using them and when my hosting service provider is currently offering free hosting with every domain i thought of learning these applications at someone else's cost.

Yes. You can, but it is not advised. WordPress is far superior to Joomla

Thats interesting but i would like to know more as i have bought a new domain and setup a joomla blog and now actually trying to understand Joomla. Not in a stage to compare yet but then you can definitely help.
