Nofan, as you may know i used to run www.banners2go.com. I designed all my banners using photoshop and imageready to animate them. This is the best package hands down for creating graphics like banners.

If you're starting out, of course it would take awhile to learn. But once you've got it all down, and know your ways around the programs, then it should be a breeze.
