  Old  Vbulletin, new standard ?

I have found this kinda interesting, most of the websites/forums i have been visiting lately either have been vbulletin or in the process of changing to vbulletion.

Does it seem as if it might be the new standard type forum, meaning do you think it will be more commonly used than IPB.

phpbb ipb and vbuliten are the most common ones used, I think it goes, ipb > vb > phpbb

Most compony/buisness forums use vb and for people whpo have forums like graphic forums..ect mainly use ipb/phpbb they all have their goods and bads

vB and IPB kind of steal eachothers ideas all the time so they are pretty simular. But most people use vB and it is probably the standard, yes.

Especially now, IPB2.0 is not free like its previous 1.3 was. A lot of sites will either be switching to IPB2, or vB. As far as I know, if I were to pay for a board I would go with vBulletin simply because of its pretty much bullet-proof rep. phpBB has too many problems, I wouldn't even consider it anymore. Its also taken them years to come out with their new version.

phpbb = good free board, IPB used to be better when it was free,
now you have to pay for IPB most people would rather go with vB

I used to think IPB was the best but now that it isn't free VB all the way!

By the way what's the pricing of Vb? And are there free skins? Is it hard to code in it?
