This guy..
He puts his site up for auction, and then i win the auction, and i wait days for him to respond so i can pay him for the auction, and I get this email response...
"Unfortuantly, someone came along and offered me more, so SC has been sold."
Heh.. what can you expect from a 16 year old though?

Alot more than you think
This isn't the place to start flaming, at the time you posted, you had <10 posts, I tried PMing you, as well as emailing you through TF, none of them worked, either because you had them disabled or because you were too new of a member.
I received a higher offer while we were hoping to talk, and the guy didn't want to wait. Please don't go around bashing this thread and myself, I have plenty of clients and run some very well respected sites.

Krylon, tuff luck! It's his site, he decides who he wants to sell it to, and if someone offered him more, unlucky. You should have got back to him and said "I'll offer you more than $110" (Or whatever amount you agreed).
It's simple, he's the owner, whether hes 16 or 28, if he doesn't want to sell it he doesn't, so stop complaining.

As of TalkFreelance Rules:
BIN: A Buy-It-Now price becomes binding if that price is offered before bidding exceeds that price. If you set a BIN price and someone offers to buy your product/service for that price you are obliged to sell to that person. If more than one person purchases at BIN, e.g. on two different forums, then you are obliged to take the earliest offer.
|
You were obliged to sell the site to Krylon. By not doing so, you'll probably be banned now.

I am going to bash you and this thread because of the fact that I got this email from you
"From: AJ
To: 'support'
Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2006 3:38 AM
Subject: RE: soundchronicle
I’ve added you, we’ll talk today."
So, you did make contact with me, and the sale was going to go through, but you decided to not honor your auction.. But whatever kid...
do what you wish.

Subfusion..
I won the bid on that for the B.I.N. So, what are you babbeling about? I am just saying that children shouldn't be putting stuff up for auction, if they are not willing to honor it?
Not age bashing any other 16 year olds. Just stating that's why there are age requirements on many auction type sites.
I mean, If I did this on ebay with my car or something, i'm sure i would be kicked off of ebay.
It's not only childish, it's unproffessional.
Anyway, I really care less about the site, it's just that I don't like being burned like that. Especially on a known forum like this.
