Firefox is sucking the fat one
Is it me or is Firefox quite crap. I've been using it for years now and would swear by it to anyone but for most of that time it hogged the system resources like a beast. I'm now using Oprea which I have to say is nothing short of amazing. Fast, fast, clean, easy to use and fast, did I meantion FAST!!!!
Sadly there are no extensions avaliable, so for things that I love like google booklmarks it a hassle, but I guess I can live with that.

sul, maybe you have a dreaded piece of spy/mal-ware ?
Mine works seemlessly, try re-installing it.

I just started using Opera yesterday
I downloaded Opera back when an Opera CEO said he'd swim from Norway to the US if 1 million people downloaded Opera 8 in 4 days. I used it for a day or so and then went back to Firefox I don't think there was any real reason why I quit using Opera 8 I probably just stopped using it because I didn't have it set as my default browser . Yesterday I decided to upgrade to Opera 9 and it hasn't caused me any problems so far.

I use IE7. Think what you like about that but i'm not dumb enough to let it screw up my PC and it loads dead fast, and isnt anywhere near as buggy as FF.
Might try Opera though.

I liked Opera for a while, then started missing the customization of Firefox. Sure, you can have widgets, but I really do prefer the Web Developer Toolbar and such
For everything else, Opera is actually better though.
