You know what really makes me angry? When you go online to see if you can get a break on the price for a piece of software, pay a fair price for the program (relative to the original price set by the company), and then get a burned copy of the program in the mail.

I know the saying 'if it sounds to good to be true', etc but if you're putting out that much money you should get a full, legal copy.

I used freeware programs up until i could afford the real deal. I prefer to buy second hand though from something like ebay its much cheaper.

I dont pay that much. I have flash2004 tho legally and same thing for photoshop and office 2003 or 2002 not sure. My best friend's uncle owns a design studio and they use autocad and 3dmax for their stuff and they bought 20 licenses or so for like everything and he gave me one :P So i can make money off of those legally

By the way isn't this thread sort of against the rules?

I paid for Photoshop Elements and that is what I use. I do have CS but for some respect to adobe I will not do any paid work with it untill I earn enouhg money and purchase it. Maybe a student package or something. As for othrew things out side of web development mostlikely I get them free.
