If I use it often, I buy it. If I don't have the money, I want to buy it but don't.

I've wasted a lot of money on buying games that don't work well/right and software that I stop using because something better comes out or support dies, so I understand people that don't throw money at software companies. But I still like to buy stuff I use.

I've bought Photoshop and Studio MX. I'm looking into getting Final Cut Pro HD and Maya in the near future. Then I'll probably get After Effects. I used to get them off downloading but my conscious caught up to me and now I buy what I use.

I didnt use to - when I didnt have any money coming in.

Now, I swear by it. I actually prefer getting things than downloading them for nothing.

All of web-design related stuff, I don't buy. (Tbh I can't even afford just 1 of the programs let alone the 4 of so commercial ones I have on my pc). But games etc I will buy since I know I will get my money's worth out of them.
