You saying IE has been hacked 1 single time?

I think until IE has tabbed browsing it will continue to lose more and more people, I'm surprised that the team behind the browser hasn't cottoned on to tabbed browsing yet.

Tabs were stupid when Netscape did it, but all of a sudden they are all the rage.

What about gbrowser!
If gbrowser ever is released i think it will have a big opportunity to at least catch up with firefox. (Allthough some beleive it would only be a branded version on firefox anyway).

GBrowser would probably be the biggest piece of spyware/adware ever, tracking every Web site you visit, and serving you ad's accordingly.
Probably.

I downloaded firefox to check my website I was coding and I didn't like it. I hope IE 7 will bring some much needed changes, microsoft must have realised what they are by now, i'm sure we won't be dissapointed (although hardcore anti-ms fans will!)

They're not changing the rendering engine as far as I know.

Just PNG support is the only prayer I've heard of thats been answered.

"IE 7.0 will feature international domain name (IDN) support; transparent Portable Network Graphics (PNG) support, which will allow for the display of overlayed images in the browser; and new functionality that will simplify printing from inside IE 7.0, partner sources said. The new browser also will likely include a built-in news aggregator."

"Partner sources say Microsoft is wavering on the extent to which it plans to support CSS2 with IE 7.0. Developers have been clamoring for Microsoft to update its CSS support to support the latest W3C standards for years. But Microsoft is leaning toward adding some additional CSS2 support to IE 7.0, but not embracing the standard in its entirety, partners say."
