Hello,
I have bought plenty of PHP books within my time of programming with PHP & mySQL, and in fact I have the exact same book you have. It is indeed a great book. My suggestions for new books would have to be the following:

- Core PHP Programming
- Beginning PHP 5 and mySQL (From Novice To Professional)

Those two are some great books. Also the SAMS books are pretty decent as well. If you need some help with scripts you are creating or just want to chat feel free to contact me via messenger or whatever. I'm always open to meeting new people/helping them out.

Agreed, I love the tutorials in their books and the code snippets. I have one of their PHP & mySQL books and I think its really neat that they give you some example apps. For example they walk you through how to create a simple discussion board using PHP & mySQL.

They are very good books.

Have you checked out the PHP5 Bible? It's a very nice book. I dont own it but I did check it out at my local book store and it looks to be a good read from what I could tell.

Those Sam's Books are great. I've never read the PHP versions, of course, but the C++ and C# ones were great,

I agree, I plan on picking up on C++ or C sometime later on. You guys have any suggestions for books? I'm looking at the SAMS right now and they seem pretty good.
