free script for email hosting

i want to give out free emails to my foums members

and is there a script that can work with phpbb or make it work like hotmail or gmail

I would suggest taking a look at www.hotscripts.com, they have a wide range of free and paid scripts

hot scripts is the way to go !

Hotmail is a pretty high target to aim for... I don't think you'll find anmy scripts anything like it.

Best idea though - as with everything - is to do it yourself.

well i guess im not looking to be as big as hotmail
but have a decent user base
as i own the domain 9ix.net
so it would be nice to use that as emails for people
and now that i also am renting a p4 server it would make it even easier

Hmmm... renting a whole server will make it a whole lot easier. But in all basicness I have no idea how to program an E-Mail Client I doubt however you'll find anything that will fit you quite right though, it would be best to get down to a Library and look up E-Mail Standards and How to pick them up.
