  Old  loadMovie issue

When a user clicks a button in my flash movie, a panel drops down from behind a mask. After the panel is in place on the website, i would like the panel to be replaced by an another .swf(an image slideshow).

loadMovie("WebDesign.swf", mc);

This is my code concerning the loadMovie, it works fine when i use a level number instead of a target after the file name, but it will not work when I attempt to place the file in a movie clip.

Does anyone know why this would happen?

you have to use the .syntax to attach the load movie command to something.

yourMCcontainerInstanceName.loadMovie('WebDesign.s wf', 0);
