Old  Photoshop bug - can't paste screen captures

I've got this odd bug right now where I can't paste screenshots in Photoshop. I can still paste in them in Paint no problem. I can also paste copied images (right click - copy image) into Photoshop. Just no screen captures. Anybody else ever have this problem?

I've had this problem occur a couple of time in the past. It always seems to show up and then go away. Although i remember a few times when it would happen i would just restart my computer a few times or so and i would solve the problem temporarily.

Hope that helps. If you find a better fix for this please let me know.

Thanks

Well, there is something else you could do, just save the screenshot as a file, then go to File > Place > and search in the document,

it`s a longer way of placing it but atleast its possible then

yea that's what I've been doing ... but it's so damn annoying to go through all that instead of just being able to paste it
