 New re-design @ www.linkwithus.com
We've just re-designed our site and wanted to get some feedback on the overall look and feel. We are a Reciprocal Link Exchange Directory with our own automated link exchange script and have been around since June 2005 with nearly 500 webmasters actively trading links. I like it very much; however it really reminds of the apple site for some reason.
Things to improve- the logo, rework it.
Good stuff otherwise

Overall the design is ok, although it's a little cluttered. The text in the header is AWFUL though. Do something to improve that and it'll look better overall

Thanks yeah the logo is in rework mode as we speak. That actually has been our thorn in the side sort of speak.

I think there are too many dynamic objects. It starts to distract you from the actual content of the website.

Too many flashing / annoying ads.
Kind of, well, your logo could be better.
I like the rest.

I really don’t like this design. Like most other people have said in this thread, it is overly cluttered. The text effects that you have used on the flash element in the centre of the page are dated and don’t really add anything to the over all design. The logo and navigation are centred, for me this is always a big no-no. There seems to be a lot of white on the page that doesn’t really serve a purpose. Your logo also needs some work.

The individual pieces of this design are good, but together it looks like a random jumbled mess.
