Daz, you shouldn't go making up excuses, it's not professional. If a client is not happy with his work he should eathier get it fixed or a refund

I'm not making up excuses, he knows I don't code for IE 6. I would fix the code to be compatible with other browsers. Why does everyone take the side of the client? Can't you understand what I'm saying?

Because 'the client' is in the right here. You produced something that was unusable for > 80% of internet users.

Not exactly unusable. Just got my results back from Safari 2.0 - works perfect aswell. It works in basically all browsers but IE 6.

Which is by far the most important one.

So you're happy to not cater for ~80% of the web-surfing population? How about creating an online store where only 1 in 5 customers can actually buy anything -- I'm sure that's a great business choice! Ryan, if you haven't already, cut your losses and go find a decent coder.

Before people think I'm some coder Ryan hired, I was actually a good friend for about a year. I don't have a portfolio, I don't sell my services, I don't even call myself a coder.

Salathe's right, go find a decent coder. I'm obviously a horrible coder if I don't code for IE 6. Indy is a good choice

I thought death by stoning was abolished? Seems it's made an astonishing return as a metaphor. I'm all for kicking someone while they're down, but this would be just too harsh, even for me.
