  Old  Graphic Design Degrees?

Hey guys!

I have one year left to go to college
I'm from Argentina but I'm looking forward to go abroad to continue my studies.

I'm very interested in graphic design and would love if someone gave me some pointers.

I don't understand the difference under and post graduate.
I'm looking for a good career.

Any help is really appreciated!
Regards!

Well, you'd be studying for your Undergraduate degree, or Bachelor's degree. Post-grad studies are intended for PhD's or Master's degrees, which come 'after' (hence the post in post graduate) your undergraduate studies. I recommend finding a school that will give you the best training for the field. Some schools, the majority, to a bad job of preparing designers for what they will find in a design career.

To be honest, I learned a lot of what I currently do after college. That's true for most folks nowadays. However, the program I was in gave me the tools and techniques that are crucial in my profession.

¡Buena suerte!

P.S. My husband's cousin married a girl from Argentina. They're in the States now, but want to go back.

I'm attending New England School of Art and Design. I haven't started graphic design classes because I am still taking foundation courses. Classes like Drawing 1 and 2, painting, color, 2d and 3design. But I'm loving it so far.

I was at a business school previously for marketing. I'm glad I dropped out. Art school is much better than a traditional college.
