  Old  I Need a CMS.

Im not looking for a custom CMS, or anything but i really need a cms some of the features i need are:

-Small, Able to fit into my sites design (like cutenews)

-Easy login/posting system for authors

-Easy searching/navigation system for guests/viewers

-A Star/Rating system (not really needed but i would like it)

Any recommendations?

I appreciate it

You could adapt wordpress for it, and I have a star rating plugin sitting on my desktop - give me a shout if you need it.

I'd go with Wordpress also. All these CMS like Joomla, Nukes, Typo3 etc are just too heavy

My interest about Wordpress is growing, one of these days i think i will get deeper into it and see the functions. I have heard loads of good words, used to test Joomla some time ago, indeed it is a bit heavy but it is a good CMS.

p.s. Stillt , i think I will give you a shout once i get interested about Wordpress

Wordpress has been able to conquer everything I've thrown at it so far, however it did take a bit of tweaking for some of the applications. Once you get the hang of WP, it starts to become a lot of fun trying to get it to work how you want it too. I highly recommend Wordpress as a lightweight, easily customizable content management system.

I've had a few experiences with Wordpress, and it's rather nice. You can give it a shot.
