Well I don't know everything, and I've never really looked into advertising stuff like this. Thanks for explaining anyways, might apply one day.

Bennet, I've been shy about posting addresses for fear of breaking rules
My main focus as far as google advertising goes is http://www.auctionmums.com where I am building a community for women who ebay. Of course don't hesitate to click IF you see an ad that grabs your interest
My best click through rate is 16% on http://www.auctionmums.com/simplyfred/ as that is very narrowly focussed on a particular brand of children's clothes which has a cult following in Australia.

AdSence Good = It makes money, sure thing!
AdSence Bad = Your competition makes more than you. See, if you put this on your site and you sell Lamps for instance. The ad's will show up to 4 other sites with their amazing offers, sales and they can actually target your site or many others or all sites.
Say you sell the lamps for $50 bucks. Now you ad this money making ad's to your site and you see maybe 50 bucks end of month. That's alot of missed sales of your lamps for 2-? pennies a click.
Suggestion - only place these on information pages. Free supply pages. But, you can't place them on your check out Thank You pages and contact us pages a maybe some others.. just read the terms.
A few times a month it pays us $100. How you say? Well, one of the keys it to use your ad's to target big spenders cause they try to out bid each other, so you get more moola per click. Some of the clicks we get are 4 - 8 bucks each.
So, think before you do it and get smart with it =)
